1980s soft rock mix (first draft)

aerosmith

Clearly, not all these are from the 1980s. Nor are all of them soft rock, strictly speaking. There is a a fair smattering of New Wave among the bandanas. The idea is however that all of these would have been played on commercial radio in the US during the 1980s.

Do you have any more suggestions? Stuff you think should be taken out? (City Boy? Really?) Please let me know.

Check out the GTA Vice City soundtrack (if you haven’t already) – there’s a whole CD of this stuff, beautifully put together. Features Night Ranger’s Sister Christian (which you really need) alongside several you already have.

How could you forget The Crawl’s Downhearted and Things Dont Seem–great great songs.
